This one probably belongs more in the weird and wacky gift ideas but it certainly fits into the ‘Unique’ Category as well. Handmade from resin, acrylic paint, ceramic (bowl), & polymer clay, a lot of work goes into this masterpiece.
“Oscar” is created through a process of painting in acrylics on layer upon layer of resin. The body of the octopus that is out of the “water” is made of polymer clay, painted and varnished. The rest of him is painted on layer upon layer of resin.

I saved my favourite for last. These amazing canoe & kayak chandelier kits are lovingly handcrafted from white pine and red cedar, ready to take pride of place over the fireplace, dining table or kitchen island bench.
Made for anyone with no model making skills or intermediate skills, if your feeling creative. Prices for the kits start at $216 and come in a range of styles and sizes. There are also some ready to install chandeliers but you’ll need to have a healthier bank balance to take that option. Small chandeliers start at $772 and go as high as $2936, so not cheap, but I think the result could be worth it.
